My name is Lynne Wilkins. If this photo looks familiar that’s because it is the same one I used two years ago when I ran for VT State Representative from District 4, Putney and Dummerston. This election cycle year I am running again for the same seat.
I live in Putney, raised four children here, am happily married for a quarter century, retired, and have deep vested interest in the well-being of my community.
Having heard from folks as I went campaigning door to door, I came to understand that many residents are hesitant to speak about their traditional conservative perspectives, being concerned with cultural estrangement and backlash. They are not in agreement with the current trends they see happening that affect school kids, young adults, business owners, property owners, and the traditional ways of Vermont.
Our state recognizes three major parties, Republican, Democrat, and Progressive. As a Constitutional conservative I choose to run as a Republican. Conservatism has helped to establish the Vermont many have lived in for generations and the Vermont many flocked to from other places.
I believe it is conservative values that can best protect the best of Vermont for generations to come.
