Hi, my name is Aaron Smith.
I was born in Brattleboro and continue to live in Brattleboro to this day. I’m 55 years old, and have a diverse background in many things, having worked in Restaurant, Aerospace and Car Wash industries, all ending in management roles and also owned and operated an apartment building in Brattleboro for 27 years. I currently operate a business as a handyman. I am a committed family man with my wife, Jennifer, and our two children
I became involved in politics late in life due to what I saw as an imminent need for balance. I won’t promise what I’ll get accomplished if elected as those that do are not honest or have unreasonable expectations of what can be achieved. I will tell you that I’m for personal and fiscal responsibility, support law enforcement, and believe in giving a hand up, not a handout.
What I have witnessed as a tax and spend attitude at all levels of state and local government needs to end.
